Divine Favour Part 1

#1: God’s Promise of Favour

  • Exodus 3:21 – “Father, thank You for Your promise to favour me this season. I declare that I will not end this year empty-handed.”
  • Psalm 102:13 – “Father, this is my set time for the favour You have ordained for me. Remember me, O God.”
  • Psalm 106:4–5 – “Father, remember me with the favour You have shown to Your people. Let me experience the benefits of being Your chosen one.”
  • Psalm 44:3 – “Father, grant me favour that leads to total victory in every area of my life.”
  • Psalm 126:1–3 – “I receive supernatural intervention in every area of stagnation in my life. By favour, I declare breakthrough and progress.”

SOME EXAMPLES OF GOD’S PROMISE OF DIVINE FAVOUR THROUGH MATTHEW CHAPTERS 1-7

God’s Promise of Favour – Ask for anything

  • Matthew 7:7-8 – “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
    • This passage is a clear example of God’s promise of favour. When we actively seek God and make requests in prayer, He promises to respond with favour, granting us what we ask for in alignment with His will

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your incredible promise of favour over my life. I come before You, believing in Your Word that says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened.”
Today, I ask for Your guidance in the decisions I need to make and for Your provision in every area of my life. I seek Your wisdom, strength, and peace to handle the challenges I face. I knock on the doors of opportunity that You have prepared for me, believing that they will open in Your perfect timing.

I also ask for {name your ask}

Thank You, Lord, for hearing my prayers and responding with favour. I trust You completely and know that You will lead me forward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

God’s Promise of Favour – He is Always Willing

  • Matthew 8:2-3 – “A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, ‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man. ‘I am willing,’ He said. ‘Be clean!’ Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy.”
    • God’s favour is promised through Jesus’ willingness to heal. The leper’s faith and request to be cleansed is met with a gracious

Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing willingness to show favour and bring healing in my life. I know You are willing to reach out to me today, I come before You with faith, asking for Your healing and restoration in every area of my life that needs Your touch.
I particularly as for Your touch in these areas of my life {name them}.
 I trust in Your goodness and Your promise to respond when I call on You.
Thank You for Your willingness to heal, restore, and show favour. I receive it now, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

God’s Promise of Favour – God’s Favour In Difficulty

  • Matthew 10:19-20 – “But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.”
  • This is a promise of divine favour to the disciples in times of persecution. God assures them that His Spirit will guide them, and they will be given the words they need, showing His favour in helping them through difficult situations.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise of favour, even in the midst of difficult situations.
In difficult situations I will not worry about what to say or how to say it, because You have promised to give me a mouth and the wisdom which all my adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.
AMP –  “for I will give you [skillful] words and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute.”
Father, please favour me with skillful words and the wisdom which none of my opponents will be able to resist or reply, in Jesus’ name.
Father, please fill me with Your wisdom and give me the confidence to speak and act according to Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

#2: Faith and Boldness to Access Favour

  • Exodus 12:35–36 – “Father, thank You for the favour You have already prepared for me. Grant me the faith and boldness to take the necessary steps to access the favour You have prepared for me.”
  • Proverbs 14:35 – “Father, teach me wisdom to be a wise servant in Your kingdom. The King’s favour is upon a wise servant.”
  • Psalm 84:11 – “Father, bestow on me the favour that enables me to walk blamelessly before You in Jesus’ name.”
  • Exodus 12:35–36 – “Father, in the name of Jesus, grant me the courage and boldness to make demands where You have opened doors of favour.”

SOME EXAMPLES OF FAITH AND BOLDNESS TO ACCESS FAVOUR THROUGH MATTHEW CHAPTERS 1-7

Faith and Boldness to Access Favour –  It Is Written

  • Matthew 4:3-4 – “The tempter came to Him and said, ‘If You are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.’ Jesus answered, ‘It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'”
    • Jesus showed boldness and unwavering faith in God’s Word. Despite hunger and temptation, He accessed the favour of God by standing firm in faith.
    • Prayer

When life challenges your faith or throws difficulties your way, your response should be clear and bold: It is written. Jesus stood firm in faith, despite hunger and temptation, by declaring God’s Word. The same power is available to you when you declare what is written over your situation.
Here’s how you can pray with faith and boldness using the Scriptures:

  1. Identify a pressing matter in your life.
  2. Search the Word: Go to BibleGateway.com and search for three scriptures that speak to your situation.
  3. Declare boldly: Follow this prayer pattern, speaking the Word over your situation.

Example Prayer:
Pressing Matter: Provision

  • Scripture 1: Philippians 4:19 – “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
    • Lack I address you. It is written: And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.”
    • According to the Word of God, I boldly declare that God my Heavenly Father is my provider. I expect every need to be met according to His abundant riches. Lack has no place in my life.
  • Scripture 2: Matthew 6:33 – “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
    • Lack I address you It is written: But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well
    • According to the Word of God I seek Your kingdom, Lord, and I declare that all things I need—financial provision, opportunities, and resources—will be added to me.
  • Scripture 3: Psalm 34:10 – “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”
  • Lack I address you. According to the Word of God It is written: The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”
    • I declare that I will lack no good thing because I seek You, God. I expect Your favour to open doors of provision and abundance. In Jesus’ name.

Now it’s your turn:
Find your scriptures, stand on what is written, and declare the outcome you expect. The favour of God will be released as you exercise faith and boldness, just like Jesus did.

  • Faith and Boldness to Access Favour – Nothing Is Final

  • Matthew 9:18 – “While He was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before Him and said, ‘My daughter has just died. But come and put Your hand on her, and she will live.'”
    • The synagogue leader, Jairus, boldly approaches Jesus with faith that He can raise his daughter from the dead. His boldness in seeking Jesus’ help reflects faith that accesses divine favour.
  • Matthew 9:27-29 – “As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’ When He had gone indoors, the blind men came to Him, and He asked them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ they replied. Then He touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you’; and their sight was restored.”
    • The blind men boldly cried out to Jesus, believing that He could heal them. Their persistence and faith led to them receiving divine favour through the restoration of their sight.

# 3: Supernatural Turnaround Through Favour

  • Psalm 126:1–3 – “Father, in this season of favour, grant me a supernatural turnaround. Let the nations testify that God has done great things for me. My mouth will be filled with laughter and my tongue with rejoicing.”
  • Esther 6:1–3 – “Father, in any area of my life where I am experiencing emptiness, let there be a turnaround. Honour me and my family, just as You did for Mordecai.”
  • Genesis 21:2 – “I declare that I will not miss my set time. I receive favour for divine appointments and timely fulfilment of God’s promises.”

SOME EXAMPLES OF SUPERNATURAL TURNAROUND THROUGH FAVOUR THROUGH MATTHEW CHAPTERS 1-7

Supernatural Turnaround Through Favour – As you believe it would.

  • Matthew 8:13 – “Then Jesus said to the centurion, ‘Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.’ And his servant was healed at that moment.”
  • Matthew 8:13: Then Jesus said to the Roman officer, “Go on home. What you have believed has happened!” And the boy was healed that same hour!
    • This miracle represents a supernatural turnaround through favour. The servant was on the brink of death, but through the centurion’s faith and Jesus’ favour, there was an instant reversal of his condition.
  • Matthew 9:27-29 – “As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’ When He had gone indoors, the blind men came to Him, and He asked them, ‘Do you believe that I am able to do this?’ ‘Yes, Lord,’ they replied. Then He touched their eyes and said, ‘According to your faith let it be done to you’; and their sight was restored.”
    • Similarly, in this story paraphrasing, Jesus asked, “Do you believe that I am able to change your situation, they responded yes, and it happened for them, just as they believed it should.
    • What reversal do you want to see? Then know that whatever you believe it will happen. The favour of God to bring about a supernatural reversal comes upon that situation in Jesus’ name.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You with faith in my heart, I believe in Your power for supernatural turnaround.
According to the Word of God, I boldly declare that it will be done as I believe. I speak supernatural reversal over every area of my life that needs Your divine intervention—(my health, my finances, my relationships, or any challenge I face… name the situation).

By Your divine favour, I declare that what was once impossible is now possible. What seemed lost is restored, and what was broken is made whole again. (Name these things that are now possible. It is better to take 5 minutes and process what you want to declare as possible then pray it through).

Thank You, Lord, for Your favour that brings immediate change. I trust in Your word, and I stand in faith, knowing that it will happen just as I believe.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!

Supernatural Turnaround Through Favour – favour to turn a hopeless situation around

  • Matthew 9:25 – “After the crowd had been put outside, He went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up.”
    • This is an example of a miraculous turnaround. The girl was dead, but through Jesus’ divine favour and power, she was brought back to life, transforming a hopeless situation into one of life and joy.
  • Matthew 9:22 – “Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ He said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.”
    • After suffering for 12 years, the woman with the issue of blood experienced a supernatural turnaround when Jesus healed her instantly, restoring her to health after years of struggle.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, I come before You today, for with You, there is nothing impossible or too hard for You. Just as You brought the dead girl back to life and healed the woman who suffered for 12 long years, I believe in Your power to bring a supernatural turnaround in my life.

Father, I ask that You touch my situation and turn it around for Your glory that by divine favour, let what  seems dead come alive again, and what seems lost be restored..

Let what has been stagnant, broken, or lost be revived. I receive Your favour to bring life where there is death, hope where there is despair, and joy where there has been sorrow. I trust in Your miraculous power to bring healing, restoration, and transformation in my life, in Jesus’ name, amen.
Thank You, Lord, for the supernatural turnaround that is coming I Jesus’ name amen.

 Supernatural Turnaround Through Favour – empowerment to bring the power of God in every space and displace the works of darkness.

  • Matthew 10:8 – “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons.”
    • The miracles that the disciples were commissioned to perform represent supernatural turnarounds through divine favour. Lives would be transformed as people experienced healing, deliverance from demons, and even resurrection from the dead, demonstrating God’s favour at work through His servants.
  • Matthew 10:11-13 – “Whatever town or village you enter, search there for some worthy person and stay at their house until you leave. As you enter the home, give it your greeting. If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it.”
    • The offering of peace to deserving homes reflects divine favour, bringing supernatural blessings and peace to households that receive the disciples and their message

 

Pray for Watchers

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your supernatural power and divine favour that brings transformation, healing, and deliverance. We come before You, asking for a mighty outpouring of Your power in the lives of every Watcher and their families. Just as You empowered the disciples to heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, and drive out demons, we ask for that same empowerment to be released in every space where we go.

Lord, let Your supernatural power displace every work of darkness in the lives of the Watchers and their families. Where there is sickness, bring healing. Where there is oppression, bring deliverance. Where there is death and hopelessness, bring resurrection and life. Empower us to be vessels of Your power, releasing Your peace, favour, and blessings into every household we enter. In the name of Jesus.

We declare that as You go before us, Your divine favour will rest on us, and lives will be transformed. Every Watcher and their family will experience supernatural turnarounds in their health, finances, relationships, and every area where breakthrough is needed. Let Your peace and power fill every home and heart, and bring victory over every scheme of the enemy.

Thank You, Lord, for the empowerment to bring Your light into every space, displacing darkness and establishing Your kingdom. We declare, Kingdom of God come, will of God be done. As in heaven so it is on earth.

I stand in faith, expecting miracles and testimonies of Your mighty hand at work. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

 

Conclusion and Thanksgiving:

As we conclude this week’s focus on Divine Favour, let us remain confident that God’s hand is actively working in every area of our lives. We have declared His promises, sought His face, and stood on His Word with boldness and faith. Now, we trust in the supernatural power of God to bring about the turnarounds, breakthroughs, and victories we are believing for.

Remember, the same favour that healed the sick, raised the dead, and delivered the oppressed is alive and at work in you and your family. Let us continue to walk in this favour, expecting testimonies of God’s miraculous interventions in our lives. In Jesus’ name.

Thanksgiving Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your divine favour upon us this week. Thank You for hearing our prayers and for the supernatural turnarounds You are bringing into our lives. We are grateful for Your unfailing love, provision, and guidance.

Thank You for empowering us with boldness and faith, and for every victory You have secured on our behalf through Christ Jesus. We give You all the glory and honour, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
