LET US PRAY
Theme 1: Open Doors and Major Opportunities
In Revelation 3:8, Jesus declares, “I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut.” This verse reveals God’s intentionality in opening doors of opportunity and blessing that are uniquely prepared for us. These doors are not merely entrances to ordinary paths; they are significant, divine pathways designed to lead us into His promises and purposes. They represent major opportunities—those that have the power to transform our lives, compensate for missed chances, and bring us into the fullness of His will.
As we step into this season, let’s approach with faith, for God has already unlocked these doors for us. Just as Jesus instructed Peter to cast his net in a new direction, we are reminded that the doors God opens are often hidden, reserved specifically for us, and require a leap of faith. Today, we pray with a confident heart, asking God to reveal these opportunities, strengthen our spiritual vision, and give us the courage to step through the doors He has set before us.
- Scripture References:
- Revelation 3:8 – “I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.”
- Matthew 17:24–27 – The story highlighting major opportunities.
- Emphasis v 7 Nevertheless, lest we offend them, go to the sea, cast in a hook, and take the fish that comes up first. And when you have opened its mouth, you will find a piece of money; take that and give it to them for Me and you.”
- Key Points:
- God has ordained major opportunities for us in this season—opportunities that will be game changers and compensate for previous losses.
- There was a debt to pay, it was the Temple Tax. In Luke 5 a breakthrough came for Peter when Jesus instructed him to “Just as Jesus instructed Peter to “Launch out into the deep” now we see Jesus instruct him in a different way. This time he is going from fishing at the lake Luke 5:1-4 to the sea, signaling a significant change. There is a specific word for our open doors.
- These major opportunities are hidden for us, not from us—customized and built specifically for each individual.
- Accessing these opportunities requires faith.

Prayers:
Gratitude for Open Doors
- “Father, I thank You for Your plans for open doors for me in this season. I thank You for the doors You have opened before me, doors that no one can shut. I am grateful for Your love and faithfulness in guiding me into new opportunities and blessings. Thank You for seeing my heart and making a way for me, even when I may not have seen it myself. I praise You for Your constant provision, protection, and the paths You have prepared. With a grateful heart, I acknowledge Your hand upon my life, leading me into places of purpose and growth. All glory and honour belong to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Life Changing Opportunities
“Father, I ask for eyes to see the major, life-changing opportunities that You have prepared for me, just as You revealed the hidden provision for Peter in the mouth of the fish. Open my heart and mind to recognize the paths that will elevate me to a new level in my purpose and calling. Grant me the wisdom and faith to act on these opportunities, trusting that they are meant to bless and advance me according to Your plan. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Cancel every hindrance to your open doors
- 1 Corinthians 16:9 – “By the authority in the name of Jesus, I cancel every plot of the enemy hindering my open doors and command it to be destroyed in Jesus’ name.”
Theme 2: Spiritual Sight, Discernment, and Faith
As we delve deeper into our theme of Open Doors, and consider the topic – Spiritual Sight, Discernment, and Faith it’s vital to understand that recognizing and walking through these doors requires more than just physical awareness—it requires spiritual sight and discernment. God often sets opportunities before us that are not immediately obvious to the natural eye. These divine doors are perceived through the illumination of the Holy Spirit, who reveals the hidden wisdom prepared for our glory.
In 1 Corinthians 2:7, 10, Apostle Paul speaks of a wisdom that was hidden but is now revealed to us by the Spirit. This passage reminds us that God’s plans are spiritually discerned and that He desires to unveil them to those who seek Him earnestly. Similarly, Proverbs 20:27 tells us, “The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord,” indicating that our spirit is the channel through which God enlightens us.
Moreover, Jesus teaches in John 4:24 that “God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” To truly connect with God’s heart and recognize the doors He has opened, we need healing from spiritual and mental blindness. Without this healing, we may overlook the opportunities He has tailor-made for us.
In this season, discretion and discernment are not just beneficial—they are essential. Proverbs 2:11 assures us that “Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.” As we navigate through life’s complexities, the gift of discerning of spirits becomes crucial for spiritual growth and for seizing God-ordained opportunities.
By activating our spiritual sight and deepening our faith, we position ourselves to perceive the open doors that God has placed before us. Let us earnestly seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance to heal any blindness, enhance our discernment, and strengthen our faith. In doing so, we will not miss the divine opportunities in this season but will walk boldly through every door God opens.

Prayers:

- I ask that You unveil these divine opportunities, crafted uniquely for me. Open my spiritual eyes to see beyond the natural, and give me insight to recognize the doors You have strategically positioned for my growth and purpose. Lead me with clarity, so I may step into the fullness of all You have in store. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

“Discretion will protect you, and understanding will guard you.”
“Father, I pray for discretion and discernment in this season. Help me to recognize and seize the opportunities You have set aside for me, and guard me from any distractions or paths that don’t align with Your purpose. Let my steps be ordered by Your wisdom, so I may not miss any door You have prepared. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” -
Proverbs 20:27, John 4:24
“The spirit of man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all his innermost parts.”
“Father, I ask for healing from any spiritual blindness and mental in my life. Open my eyes to see the direction You are leading me in and to recognize the doors You have placed before me. Grant me discernment, that I may understand and respond to Your guidance and seize the opportunities You have hidden for me. Thank You for Your light within me, showing me the way. In Jesus’ name, Amen.””
Theme 3: Strategic Relationships and Destiny-Defining Connections
God has ordained open doors for you and me. In this journey of open doors, Strategic Relationships and Destiny-Defining Connections are often pivotal in leading us to the fullness of God’s plan. Throughout Scripture, we see examples of how God uses relationships to open doors that shape destinies. In 1 Samuel 9:20-22, Samuel’s encounter with Saul marked the beginning of Saul’s journey toward kingship. This divine connection was essential for Saul to step into his God-ordained role. Similarly, Psalm 1:1-3 reminds us of the blessings that come from aligning ourselves with the right people, cautioning us against the influence of those who could pull us off course.
God has designed our lives to include relationships that will uplift, guide, and encourage us toward His purpose. These relationships act as doors, creating pathways to new levels of wisdom, support, and influence. As we pursue our destiny, it’s important not only to seek God’s guidance in connecting with strategic, destiny-defining individuals for ourselves but also to pray for our children, asking that they, too, will walk with mentors, friends, and leaders who align with God’s path for their lives. Just as Samuel was a mentor to Eli and Paul invested in Timothy, we, too, need relationships that inspire us toward growth and godliness.
Today, let us seek God’s wisdom to walk through doors of divine relationships while also asking for discernment to shut doors to influences that may hinder or deviate us from His path. Through His guidance, may we cultivate relationships that inspire and strengthen our journey, ultimately leading us closer to His purpose.
- Scripture References:
- 1 Samuel 9:20–22 – Samuel’s strategic role in Saul’s future.
- Psalm 1:1–3 – The blessings of walking not in the counsel of the wicked.
- Key Points:
- Open doors can come through entering into strategic relationships that play significant roles in our future.
- Relationships are doors; God has designed our lives to require connections with others for our upliftment.
- We must pray for destiny-defining relationships for ourselves and our children (e.g., Samuel and Eli, Paul and Timothy, David and Solomon).
- It’s important to shut doors to undesirable influences that may deviate us or our children from God’s path.
-
Prayers:
-
1 Samuel 9:20-22
“As for the donkeys you lost three days ago, do not worry about them; they have been found. And to whom is all the desire of Israel turned, if not to you and your whole family line?”
“Lord, I pray that You connect me with the strategic relationships that will shape my future and fulfill the destiny You have for me. Just as You aligned Saul with Samuel, position me with the right people who will guide, support, and encourage me on my journey. Lead me to those who will help me fulfill my calling. In Jesus’ name, Amen.” -
Psalm 1:1-3
“Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the Lord… That person is like a tree planted by streams of water…”
“Father, I ask that You remove any relationships in my life that lead me away from Your plans and purpose. Align me with people who encourage my faith and growth in You. May I walk closely with those who are rooted in Your Word, and may my life be fruitful like a tree planted by streams of water. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
