To possess economic gates, we need knowledge and wisdom. There are many things that having knowledge and wisdom will do for you and me.
1. Choosing what career or business path to follow and how to grow in it:
- Proverbs 16:3: “Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.”
- Ecclesiastes 9:10: “Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.”
Heavenly Father, I come before You seeking guidance and wisdom on my career or business path. I seek Your wisdom on how to grow in it. I commit my plans and desires to You, knowing that You hold my future in Your hands.
Grant me discernment and clarity as I make decisions regarding my career. Help me align my skills, passions, and talents with the path You have prepared for me. May I find fulfilment and purpose in the work I undertake.
Remind me, Lord, to approach every endeavour with diligence and wholeheartedness. Teach me to give my best in all I do, knowing that I can glorify your name through my efforts.
In times of uncertainty or doubt, remind me that You are my ultimate guide. Please help me to trust in Your divine wisdom, even when the path ahead seems unclear. Give me the courage to step out in faith, knowing that You will establish my plans according to Your perfect will.
I surrender my ambitions to you, Lord, recognising that my ultimate destination is in Your eternal presence. May I use the time I have been given on this earth to make a positive impact, to serve others, and to honour You.
2. Resource Management:
Efficient utilisation of resources Wisdom helps in planning and managing these resources effectively to maximise output and minimise waste.
- Proverbs 21:5: “The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty.”
- Proverbs 27:23: “Be sure you know the condition of your flocks, give careful attention to your herds.”
Dear Heavenly Father, I seek Your wisdom and guidance in managing and utilising resources effectively. Thank You for the resources You have given me for a good life and to bless others. Help me, Lord, to be a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to me.
Grant me the wisdom to plan diligently and make wise decisions that lead to productivity and prosperity. May I not be swayed by haste or impatience, but rather be diligent in my approach, knowing that it leads to profitable outcomes.
Teach me to be attentive and discerning in assessing the condition of the resources under my care. Just as a shepherd tends to their flock, may I diligently evaluate and understand the state of my resources, giving them the care and attention they require for optimal utilisation.
Guide me, Lord, in maximising output and minimising waste. Help me to be efficient in managing resources, recognising their value and the potential they hold. Show me how to make the most of what I have been given so that nothing is wasted or overlooked.
May I honour You by using resources responsibly, ethically, and in alignment with Your Word in all my endeavours. May my actions reflect good stewardship and bring glory to Your name.

Knowledge of current market trends, future predictions, and understanding of supply and demand are vital. Wisdom helps you interpret this information to position your products effectively and at a competitive price point.
- Proverbs 24:3-4: “By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding, it is established; through knowledge, its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.”
- Proverbs 2:6-7: “For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.”
Let us pray
Father, I need Your divine wisdom and understanding in navigating the complexities of the marketplace. Lord, You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge, and I ask for your guidance in understanding current market trends, predicting future shifts, and discerning supply and demand dynamics. I pray for insight and foresight so that I will not be caught napping.
Grant me the wisdom to interpret market information and insights effectively. Help me discern customers’ (organisations, whatever community you serve, even your ministry) needs and desires and position my products or services to meet those needs and stand out in a competitive landscape. In my career, Father, I don’t want to be left behind. Please enable me to make sound decisions to help me succeed and grow in the marketplace.
Father, I acknowledge that true wisdom comes from You alone. I thank You for the knowledge and understanding You generously provide. As I seek to navigate the market, I trust in Your guidance and direction. Your wisdom is the foundation for building my plans and strategies.
I pray that You will fill the rooms of my endeavours with rare and beautiful treasures as symbols of the fruits of success that come from applying Your wisdom. I surrender my ambitions and plans to You, knowing that You hold success in store for those who walk uprightly and whose hearts seek Your guidance.

Collaboration, on the other hand, involves working with others to achieve a common goal. It is through collaboration that we can leverage the strengths of others and tap into their expertise to achieve success. Collaboration can take many forms, from joint ventures and partnerships to co-creation and knowledge sharing.Let us Pray
Father, I ask for favour in attracting the right networks and collaboration opportunities to possess the economic gate. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 18:16, “A man’s gift makes room for him and brings him before the great.” Lord, I ask that You open doors for me and position me in the right place at the right time.
I declare Your promise from Deuteronomy 8:18, which says, “But you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth.” I ask for Your supernatural favour and Wisdom, Lord, as I navigate the path toward economic success. Grant me the discernment to recognise the right connections and the courage to pursue them with integrity.
In Psalm 37:4, it is written, “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” Father, I align my desires with Your will. I seek Your guidance and ask that You lead me to individuals and organisations who share my vision and are passionate about collaboration. Bring like-minded people into my life, Lord, who can contribute to my growth and success.
I trust in Your promise from Isaiah 41:10, which assures me, “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” May Your presence be my constant source of confidence and courage as I pursue the economic gate.
Father, Your Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path (Psalm 119:105). Illuminate the way before me, showing me the right opportunities and networks to connect with. Surround me with individuals who are aligned with Your principles and have a heart for collaboration, innovation, and success.
