1. Closed Doors – Open Doors
CAN A DOOR BE SPIRITUALLY LOCKED?
The answer is yes:
- God is Spirit, yet he shut the door of the arc in Gen 7:16
Gen 7: 16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in
- The angel of the Lord shut the door of Lot’s house and blinded the people such that the people in the city could not find the way into his house.
Gen 19: 10 But the men reached out their hands and pulled Lot into the house with them, and shut the door. 11 And they struck the men who were at the doorway of the house with blindness, both small and great so that they became weary trying to find the door.
This door was a physical door, but non-physical beings locked it. If Lot had shut the door, the men of the city of Sodom would have gained access. It took the angels to shut the door and blind the men. This blindness was not physical; otherwise, they would not have continued to try to gain access. I believe that they did not even know that they were struck blind by the Angel of the Lord.
Pray
Declare that this year and throughout this decade, the angels of the Lord should shut the doors of affliction. Command them to shut the doors that will lead to trouble, sorrow, and distress
The angels of God are ministering spirits sent to minister to us, the heirs of salvation
Declare that those who have made it their mandate to press into your space and that of your husband and children to do wickedness should become struck with blindness like the men in the city of Sodom.
Declare that they will continue to grope in the noonday as though it is night and will not prosper on their ways against you or your family. (Deut 28:29)
In the same way, physical doors open spiritually
Acts 5: 19 But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said
Angels are spiritual beings, yet this angel was able to open a door that had been shut by humans.
This year, you must believe that the doors are open. If any entity or person is monitoring that door to cage, you or any member of your family God will assign His warring angels to move them out of the way, Amen.
Prayer
Speak into your year and the decade ahead
Ask for the help of God that doors be open for you and your family to pass through to the next phase of your destiny.
Pray that the doors that have eluded you for decades, the doors that have eluded your husband, your son or daughter or anyone that you love, should open.
Declare: God, You are Spirit and the All-powerful One. Nothing can resist You … command these doors to be open I need Your intervention.
Prophesy into your year and declare for you, your husband and your children, “The doors are open.”
2. Closed Wombs – Open Wombs
Wombs can be spiritually locked.
1 Chronicles 1: 6 And her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the Lord had closed her womb.
Wombs can be spiritually opened.
In the case of Rachel
Gen 30: 22 Then God remembered Rachel, and God listened to her and opened her womb.
And God answered the prayer of Hannah
1 Chronicles 1: And Elkanah knew Hannah his wife, and the Lord remembered her. 20 So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the Lord.”
What is a womb? A womb is where conception takes place. The conception of babies, the conception of breakthrough ideas, the conception of witty inventions.
Have faith in God that if you ask, He will open those doors for you.
Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you 8 For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door. TPT
Matthew 7::7-8 “Ask and it will be given to you. Search and you will find. Knock and the door will be opened for you. The one who asks will always receive; the one who is searching will always find, and the door is opened to the man who knocks.” PHILLIPS
Pray
Pray for the unlocking of physical wombs among the Watcher sisters
Reference the fact that God listened to Rachel and opened her womb – God is not partial He will also listen and open the wombs of our sisters as we pray
Pray that God will open the womb of ideas, the womb of your imagination to imagine big and marvellous things unheard and unseen
Pray for the opening of breakthrough concepts and ideas
Pray that this decade will open to you new realms of possibilities
Declare that you have great faith in God to unlock every closed womb
3. When You Sense That All Is Not Well
There are physical realms we desire to attain; however, sometimes, there are obstacles in the realm of the spirit that obstruct or resist our forward movement, thereby requiring a spiritual intervention. Therefore, we pray to the God of all spirits, who is all-powerful, to intervene and remove whatever is the cause of this closed door.
Jabez saw that he was stagnant. Perhaps there was a level he could not attain until he asked for a spiritual intervention by praying to God.
In his prayer, Jabez asked that God should enlarge his territory – this could mean that he felt stagnated and needed to grow, but until he prayed to God, nothing happened.
In another example, David knew that the famine in the land was spiritual. The heavens were locked until David prayed. He did not try to use a physical approach to solve this famine. He called on God several times until God told him the cause of the issue. In the physical realm, the house of Saul suffered the consequence of his sin, and then the heavens opened, and the rains came.
If the “rains” have not started to pour and you know that it is past the season for it to pour, then perhaps something spiritual is locking that outpouring, and like David, you need to pray for a spiritual solution. Do not be cheated in life; pray and pray again for God to intervene. If God does not reveal some things to you, you might go through life, not fully attaining the heights you meant for you.
Pray
Do you have a witness in your spirit that a door is spiritually locked?
Start by inquiring as David did. “Lord, show me the cause of this limitation, or embargo, or closed door”.
Cry to GOD as Jabez did. What change do you want to see?
Jabez asked for enlargement, and David wanted rain. What is yours? What outpouring do you need now?
Pray because you need a spiritual solution to this physical issue.
Numbers 22: 23 Now the donkey saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the way with His drawn sword in His hand, and the donkey turned aside out of the way
The donkey could not proceed because the Angel of the Lord obstructed the way. Balaam was working in disobedience; therefore, the Angel of the Lord obstructed his way. Likewise, there are demonic entities that obstruct the way for God’s children. We have to take authority and command them to move out of the way.
Pray
Ask for the help of God that this year that nothing will stand in the way of your spouse, yourself or your children.
As we have been given authority over the powers of darkness, speak to every obstruction and command them to move out of the way.
Be intense in your prayer, command the spirit entities assigned to obstruct your pathway to destiny, the pathway of your spouse and that of your children to move out of the way, declare that you have a clear pathway, declare that you, your spouse and your children have access to the places and the levels you need to attain in Jesus Name Amen.
