Armour of God 2

PERSONIFYING THE GOSPEL OF PEACE IN OUR LIVES

1. Peace with God

Romans 5:  Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

Ephesians 2: 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity.

We are always ready to manifest the peace of God in our lives.

The gospel of peace is that Christ brought peace to you and me. He is the Prince of Peace and has given us peace, John 14:26-28.

Pray
Father, thank You for the wall that separated me from You has been broken, I am now One with You through our Lord Jesus Christ. Peace has been restored.
I have the peace of God.
I am standing in the grace of God, who has given me access to His peace.
I am rejoicing in the hope of the glory of God revealed in my victorious life.

We can walk in the liberty that Christ obtained for us. We know that Christ has defeated Satan; therefore, we take a stance of victory.
We are reminded that even though things may be difficult, the true work has been done by Jesus, and we are more than conquerors.

Pray
Declare, I have peace because Christ has obtained the victory for me. I stand my ground on any matter; Christ has obtained the victory. I declare I am free of anxiety; I cannot be frazzled by anything because Christ has obtained victory over all situations and circumstances for me.
I speak into the remaining days of 2023 I declare victory for my family and me.
This is our year of overcoming
This is our year of possibilities
This is our year of solutions

(be very specific about the areas of victory – victory in my health, wealth, marriage, children, career, business, family, immigration, court case etc. )

I am set free from fear and oppression; therefore, I stand firm in the liberty Christ has obtained for me. I am free from oppression. I am free from anxious thoughts, I am free from predictions of sorrow and doom, I am free from fear.

Stand firm in the liberty that Christ has obtained for us. Christ has done the work we must stand firm, believing.

Say, “Christ has done the work for me, I stand firm in the gospel of peace.

2. You will not fall

Psalm 37:    for the Lord holds them by the hand. NLT

We have this confidence that we will not fall. We need the right shoes to prevent us from stumbling. As stated earlier, the sole of the soldier’s shoes had hobnails to provide grip so the soldier could have balance during battle. Something needs to hold a soldier down. God will hold your hand and mine and keep you from falling. Amen.

Pray
Declare: I will never fall though I stumble because the Lord holds me by the hand. Declare the same over your husband/wife and children.
This is the Peace I have in Christ. The enemy is waiting for me to fall, but it will never happen.
The enemy is waiting for things to go wrong. It will not happen, for the Lord upholds me.

3. No Hindrance

Galatians 5:  You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you

The devil seeks to obstruct believers on their path to fulfilling their call; therefore, we must stand well using the right gear so that the wiles of the devil will not persuade us, thereby causing us to fall. The Gospel of peace is an assurance that the devil’s obstacles and hindrances will not cause us to lose ground.

Pray
Do you feel that you are being hindered in any way? Address hindrances in our pathway. Stand firm in the victory of Christ and command every obstacle to be removed.

Pray
Galatians 5:7-10 ESV,
Galatians 5:7-10 THE VOICE,
Galatians 5:7-10 NLT,
Galatians 5:7-10 MSG

Declare I CANNOT BE HINDERED.
According to Galatians 5:10, the one who is troubling me will bear the penalty, whoever he is. The one hindering my family will bear divine judgment.

Paul said this persuasion is not from the one who calls you (that thought limiting your movement, that through preventing you from taking a strong stand, the thought that has persuaded you that there is no way out does not come from him who sent you.

Take authority over every power of influence that can persuade you into making the wrong turn or choices.
Stand firm in God. Stand firm in the complete work of Christ.
According to Galatians 5:10, the one who is troubling me will bear the penalty, whoever he is God will judge.

3. We have victory

The Gospel gives us victory Romans 1:16 – we are able to do that which we cannot do because of the power of the Gospel.
The finished work of the cross ensures that there is nothing that the enemy can do to separate us from the love of God. Romans 8:37-39

Whatever comes our way cannot separate us from God’s love; that is the peace that keeps us grounded. The enemy would have us believe that God is punishing us or has turned His back on us. However, we are anchored in the truth that nothing can separate us from God’s love. This is our weapon of defence.

Pray
I proclaim victory in Jesus throughout this year and beyond. I proclaim victory
I am persuaded of my outcomes; my armour is secure. Nothing can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus.
This Gospel is the power of God working for all believers; it will work for me. The Gospel of peace is my armour it will work for me. I will not give up in the battleground. I will emerge victorious.
Paul said, “having done all to stand,” I am standing
My testimony is that I overcame what wanted to drown me, I overcame the floods, I overcame the … add yours. I overcame poverty. I overcame stagnation, I overcame joblessness, I overcame immigration issues, I overcame barrenness, I overcame that sickness, I overcame. I am the one standing.
The testimony of every member of my family is that they overcame
I am empowered to stand in battle, I will not fall.
